The most common physical symptoms include:
- Abdominal fullness, feeling gaseous
- Bloating of the abdomen
- Breast tenderness
- Clumsiness
- Constipation or diarrhea
- Food cravings
- Headache
- Less tolerance for noises and lights
Other symptoms include:
- Confusion
- Difficulty concentrating
- Fatigue
- Feelings of sadness or hopelessness
- Feelings of tension, anxiety, or edginess
- Forgetfulness
- Irritable, hostile, or aggressive behavior, with outbursts of anger toward self or others
- Loss of sex drive (may be increased in some women)
- Mood swings
- Poor judgment
- Poor self-image, feelings of guilt, or increased fears
- Sleep problems (sleeping too much or too little)
- Slow, sluggish, lethargic movement
Ang hirap na nga ng may period ka, tapos sasabayan pa ng mga ganito. Para bang parusa every month (except for those na nag-aabang talaga, if you know what I mean).
On a lighter note, masarap pa din naman maging babae in spite of all these. Katulad na lang nitong nakaraang Valentine’s Day, ang mga babae parang mga reyna at prinsesa na inalayan ng mga regalo, lalo ng mga magagandang bulaklak. Sa araw-araw naman, pansin niyo? Babae ang madalas na inaalagaan, inaasikaso, at iniintindi. Ito pa! Sa Facebook lang eh, ang daming mga notes tungkol sa kung paano pakitunguhan ang babae at kung anu-ano pang mga bagay-bagay na makakapagpasaya sa mga babae… blah blah blah. Oh di ba?
